Charles D. Parsons and Jeanalee Pauline Parsons Mr. Charles D. Parsons, 80, of Bartlesville, died in Bartlesville on July 17, 2014 and Mrs. Jeanalee Pauline Parsons, died in Bartlesville on November 24, 2014. Charles was born in Valley View, Texas on December 17, 1933 to Thomas Eli and Mable Florene (Ledford) Parsons. He grew up and received his education in Carlsbad, New Mexico and graduated high school there. He received a Bachelors Degree from New Mexico State University in 1957 and a Masters Degree in Operational Research Engineering from Oklahoma State University in 1966. Charles was employed with Phillips Petroleum Company in Bartlesville in various capacities from 1957 until his retirement in 1993. He was active in civic affairs and was a member of the Civitan Club and was an avid travel photographer. Jean was born in Coffeyville, Kansas on January 2, 1928 the daughter of Elmyrea Frances (Pickett)White. She grew up and received her education in Coffeyville, Kansas where she graduated from high school and then received her Associates Degree from Coffeyville Junior College. She moved to Bartlesville in 1948 and became employed with Phillips Petroleum Company until her retirement in 1993 as an Executive Secretary. She had been a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Phillips Synchronized Swimming Team, was an avid gardener and had been President of the Fleur De Lis Garden Club in Bartlesville and was a member of the Jane Phillips Sorority. Charles and Jean were married in Bartlesville on June 25, 1961 and made their home in Bartlesville since that time. They had a cabin at Grand Lake and enjoyed boating, snow skiing and ballroom dancing. They were also avid travelers and had traveled all over Europe, Northern Africa, Asia and South America. Charles and Jean- are survived by many wonderful friends and medical caregivers. No formal services are planned interment of Charles and Jean will be in the Fairview Cemetery at Coffeyville, Kansas following cremation.
