Crystal Jeanine Allen

Crystal Jeanine Thibodeau Allen, age 63, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed from this earth on December 1, 2023. She was welcomed into heaven and reunited with many special people whom she loved very much. She was born March 9th, 1960 in Ada, Oklahoma to Gerald Richard and Nina “Doris” Thibodeau. She married Scott Allen on August 7, 1979, and they made their home in Bartlesville in 1985. Her occupation was a Licensed Practical Nurse, but anyone who knew her would say that her proudest accomplishment was to be called “Grandma” or “Nana” to her precious grandchildren. Crystal is survived by her sister Linda Dewbre, and husband Ron; her brother Joe Thibodeau; her brother Jerry Thibodeau, and wife Stephanie; her daughter Alisha Haley, and husband Robert, and their children Mielle, Emmelin, and Maizie; her daughter Amanda Mitchell, and husband Morgan and their children Brooke, Beau, and Kipp. She was loved by many other family members as well. Crystal is preceded in death by her husband Scott Allen; a daughter Amber Jo Allen, who passed away at the age of five months in 1986; her parents Gerald Richard and Nina “Doris” Thibodeau, and loving stepfather, Donald Wood; her sister Kay Thibodeau Zoski, and her husband Larry; and her sister-in-law Cherry Thibodeau. Crystal enjoyed shopping and had a knack for always finding the most unique and eclectic pieces for her home and others. She was the absolute best gift-giver and never ceased to make Christmas a magical experience for those she loved. She also enjoyed watching TV, especially the silly reality TV shows. Her home was where she loved to spend her time with Sammy, her beloved little teacup poodle, and best friend. She was playful, optimistic, cheerful, and forever making everyone laugh. She was truly a joy to be around. Every goodbye with the grandkids seemed to take an eternity. It was always a race to see who could prove their love more: “We love you to the moon and back, and more than all the sand on the shore, and all the water on the earth. We love you more than all the leaves on the trees, and the flowers covering the ground. We love you more than all the grains of salt, and more than all the stars, the birds in the sky, and all the clouds in the air. We love you more than all the germs on the earth, and all the atoms that make up the universe. We love you more and we will miss you more than you’ll ever know.”
